2009 VMAs - My Take

As opposed to focusing on all the negativity of the night and the rights and wrongs, I chose to share the lone highlight (in my opinion) with you guys. What a coincidence it was the track of the day yesterday! I'm not really a huge fan of the VMAs, from a music standpoint or an awards show standpoint, but continuing the props to Jay for another job well done. The entrance alone, denotes his "king" status in the music industry right now. He does start off the performance a little raspy, but hey, its Hov... He can do whatever he wants, haha. And Alicia is an incredibly talented artist herself! Also, props to all those involved in the video and media production along with the performance. That artwork was dooooope! One last thing... check B throwin the diamond up at the end of the clip. :)
