Kanye West: Glow In The Dark Book

Launching a book of “Kanye-isms” earlier in the year, Kanye West returns to the book world with his latest project, entitled Glow In The Dark. Adding the title of author to his already accomplished resume, Kanye West documents the success of his Glow In The Dark tour in a hardcover book covering all facets of his life on and off stage. The book also features photography from renown video director/photographer Nabil Elderkin. A release is slated for October 20th, 2009 with a pre-order now available via Amazon.

 

 

Again, you may not be a fan of Kanye as a person, but you cannot overlook his creative genius.  With Glow In The Dark we get to see inside the day to day life of Mr. West, on and off stage. If nothing else, the photography done by Nabil Elderkin is reason enough to buy the book! -JS

For beat buffs on the go, the KORG DS-10 Synthesizer allows musicians to spin out beats and tunes straight from their Ninetendo DS Touch Screen. While it’s understated to say it almost allows endless creative possibilities in combining music and Ninetendo DS console, we didn’t realize how far the boundaries can be pushed until electronic musician Denkitribe along with DS-10 master Keishi Yonao made the DS belt out Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” with uncanny similarity. So I was asked a pretty intense question today that somewhat caught me off guard. What inspires me..?? My initial thought was that I spend so much time directing the subject to others, that I haven't had time to write about what is truly inspirational to me. I work so hard to come up with inspirational snippets for you guys, and I think that it's time that I let you guys in on what inspires me. So be waiting for the post coming up soon!
