Packer Shoes got some well-deserved attention with the release of their standout model of the Reebok Pump 20 model that was dedicated to the legacy of an often overlooked baller–Domique Wilkins. A heritage approach to the sneaker is what made the sneaker such a success, and the same N.B.A. nostalgia can be found on these shirts released by Packer Shoes. This image is from a 1984 confrontation between Larry Bird and Julius “Dr. J” Erving. Packer released a run of these shirts in the past, but have re-released them in Boston Celtics green Philadelphia 76ers red and gray. The script Packer Shoes logo is sewn onto the sleeve, while the date of the altercation–11/9/84 is screenprinted on the inside of the shirt. These are available now at Packer Shoes. Being a huge hoops fan and an admirer of the games of both Larry the Legend and Dr. J, this shirt idea by Packer is phenomenal. I give it the coveted 5 out of 5 stars. -JSawyer
